My good Friend Dave Wood sent me a copy of the old Table Top games Reaper rules 1978 I lent my copy out and never seen again so this is wonderful as i had scraps withthe rules on laid around but not a full copy, it has i recon the first time my Art was ever in a book ? Bryan and Bob used in the book and I waschuffed to death. I have scaned my art and shoved on here. no offence please as it was 1978.
I've been after this rule set ever since in was featured in an old G.M. magazine from the early 90's. They used them to fight a battle at Joe Dever's house. The scenario was awesome to my teenage eyes. I have not been able to hunt one down :(
ReplyDeleteLucky duck.
Glad to be able to get a copy back to its rightful owner! Wonderful artwork.
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty awesome. I do love your artwork.
ReplyDeleteWow. I picked up Reaper in a games shop in Norwich in the 80s. My teenage brain, which had never encountered wargame rules before, was baffled. I couldn't make head nor tail of them. I do remember the artwork really fondly though - it made me actually want to learn the rules. Great post - really evocative of a period in time where I was totally emersed in gaming. Thanks for the nostalgia trip
