Had some real fun painting the trench crusade STLs, so I decided to give it a go again, some new miniatures and the army builder on there site makes it a lot better. For the Heretic I chose my usual force plus a Bomb Witch, the Antioch I had a box full of miniatures i wanted to try so basic infantry and 2 mechanized infantry with a anti tank hunter sniper, around 700 per side. Got my necromunda terrain as a bombed out factory, and placed the miniatures.
The Heretics advanced forward the Goetic Warlok aided by Priest jumped a trooper, the Anti tank hunter spotted the Death Commando stuck in the open and shot him down one shot, the Armored infantry made slow progress as bot sides took pot shots at each other. The bomb Witch tried a salvo at the incomming infantry only to fall to a well aimed and luck shot from and infantry man things were not looking good for the Heretics. An Anointed infantry made it up to the tank hunter and killed him in a melee. The lieutenant dropped the Warlock but he was just blooded, a mechanized infantry man dropped Heretic trooper and another with a machine gun wrought havoc on the others in the gantry.
The warlock rose up and then teleport to the Infantry sniper taking him out, The Anointed heretic struck into the Antioch infantry, the Machine gun Mechanized Infantry man target the Warlock and all his shots hit home dropping the night mare again. The priest charged the lieutenant and both fought each other off, the 4th turn end each had to roll morale and the Heretics failed so Victory to the forces of good.
Wonderful game loads of fun and as before I like the game system it works, good to use my painted miniatures and will play more.
